“Three Against the Wave”
The morning sun was hidden behind a wall of gray clouds as The Northwind sliced through restless waters. Three sailors—Marko, Elias, and Jonah—were working on the outside deck, tightening ropes and securing barrels before the storm grew worse. The wind howled like an angry beast, whipping salt spray into their eyes.
Without warning, the horizon rose. A massive wave—taller than the ship itself—charged toward them.
“Hold on!” Marko shouted, his voice almost swallowed by the roar.

The wave slammed into the hull, exploding over the deck with a deafening crash. Water engulfed the sailors, knocking them off their feet, sending crates tumbling like toys. For a moment, it felt as if the ocean itself had claimed the ship.
But The Northwind groaned, shuddered, and steadied. The wave passed. The water poured back into the sea, leaving the deck slick and dripping. The three men, soaked to the bone, exchanged silent glances—part relief, part awe.
Minutes later, the sea began to calm, its fury fading into long, rolling swells. The ship pressed onward as if nothing had happened.
Yet the sailors knew better. They’d seen the ocean’s teeth up close, and they understood what every seafarer learns: out here, beauty and danger travel the same waters.
